The Peninsula of Valdés and Puna

The trip:

1st day/night: Rome/Milan - Buenos Aires.
Departure on Sundays from Rome/Milan with an overnight flight to Buenos Aires.

2nd day: Buenos Aires - Puerto Madryn.
Arrival at the Int'l Ezeiza Airport in BA, transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and domestic flight to Trelew. Transfer to Puerto Madryn. Dinner and night at Hotel Península, Puerto Madryn.

3rd day: Tour Peninsula de Valdes.
The full day is devoted to watch the beautiful Patagonic fauna such as sea elephants and sea lions, guanacos (the South American camels), the ñandú (the Patagonic ostrich), to close with a boat tour in Golfo Nuevo to watch the enormous Wrigth whales. Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and night at Hotel Península, Puerto Madryn.

4th day: Puerto Madryn - Punta Loma.
After breakfast transfer to the breathtaking P. Madryn; free time in the city. Lunch at a local restaurant; visit of the natural reserve of Punta Loma (it includes sightseeing of sea lions); sunset at the El Doradillo beach. Return to Puerto Pirámides; dinner and night Hotel Península, Puerto Madryn.

5th day: Puerto Madryn.
Free day. Lunch at a local restaurant; dinner and night Hotel Península.

6th day: Trelew - Buenos Aires - Salta.
After breakfast transfer to Trelew Airport and flight to Salta (vía Buenos Aires) in northwest of Argentina. Dinner and night Hotel del Virrey, Salta.

7th day: Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
After breakfast departure to La Puna (pick-up 4X4) to Puna. Back pack lunch; dinner, and night. Cena y alojamiento Refugio Afasuna, Tolar Grande.

8th day: Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
The all day is dedicated to a trip in the Salar de Arizaro the second salt desert in South America and the Salta's Andes. Back pack lunch; dinner and night Refugio Afasuna en Tolar Grande.

9th day: Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
From Tolar Grande to Salta City. Back pack lunch; dinner and night Hotel del Virrey en Salta.

10th day: Salta.
Free day Salta City. An old colonial-style Spanish town in the Argentina's Northwest, famous handcraft market. Night Hotel del Virrey en Salta.

11th day: Flight Salta - Buenos Aires.
Free morning; in the afternoon transfer to Salta Airport and boarding on domestic fly to Buenos Aires city. NightHotel Castelar en Buenos Aires.

12th day: Buenos Aires.
Free day. Night Hotel Castelar en Buenos Aires.

13th day: Buenos Aires.
Free day. Night Hotel Castelar en Buenos Aires.

14th day: Buenos Aires - Italia.
Free day Departure in the evening for Italy; meals and night on board of the plane.

15th day Arrival to Rome/Milan.
