The trip:

1st day/night: Rome/Milan - Buenos Aires.
Departure on Saturdays from Rome/Milan with an overnight flight to Buenos Aires.

2nd day: Arrival in Buenos Aires.
Arrival at the Int'l Ezeiza Airport in BA, transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and domestic flight to El Calafate. Dinner and night at Hotel Sheuen, El Calafate.

3rd day: Tour of the Perito Moreno glacier.
All day tour of the Perito Moreno glacier; dinner and night at Hotel Sheuen, El Calafate.

4th day: Tour of Lake Argentino and Uppsala glacier.
After breakfast transfer to Puerto Banderas on a ship for a sightseeing of Lake Argentino and Uppsala and Spegazzini glaciers; dinner and night at Hotel Sheuen, El Calafate

5th day: Flight to El Calafate - Ushuaia.
Free morning at El Calafate; transfer at noon to the airport and air transfer to Ushuaia;dinner and night at Hotel Los Ñires, Ushuaia.

6th day: Tour of the city of Ushuaia, the most Southern town in the Austral hemisphere and Tren del fin del mundo.
After breakfast cruise along the fuegins channels; in the afternoon transfer by train to the National Park of Tierra del Fuego by the Tren del Fin del Mundo (train of the End of the world); dinner and night at Hotel Los Ñires, Ushuaia.

7th day: Fly Ushuaia - Buenos Aires - Salta.
After breakfast transfer to Ushuaia Airport and flight to Salta (vía Buenos Aires) in northwest of Argentina. Dinner and night at the Hotel del Virrey, Salta.

8th day Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
After breakfast departure to La Puna (pick-up 4X4) to Puna.

Back pack lunch; dinner, and night at the Refugio Afasuna a Tolar Grande.

9th day: Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
The full day is dedicated to a trip in the Salar de Arizaro, the second salt desert in South America and the Salta's Andes. Back pack lunch; dinner, and night at the Refugio Afasuna a Tolar Grande.

10th day: Tour del Tolar Grande (pick -up 4x4).
From Tolar Grande to Salta City. Back pack lunch; dinner, and night at the Hotel del Virrey, Salta.

11th day: Salta.
Free day Salta City. An old colonial-style Spanish town in the Argentina's Northwest, famous for their handcraft market. Night at Hotel del Virrey a Salta.

12th day: Fly Salta - Buenos Aires.
Free morning; in the afternoon transfer to Salta Airport and domestic flight to Buenos Aires city. Night at Hotel Castelar, Buenos Aires.

13th day: Buenos Aires.
Free day. Night at Hotel Castelar a Buenos Aires.

14th day: Buenos Aires.
Free day. Night at Hotel Castelar a Buenos Aires.

15th day: Buenos Aires
Free day. Night at Hotel Castelar a Buenos Aires.

16th day: Buenos Aires
Free day. Departure in the evening for Italy. Meals and night on board of the plane.

17th day Arrival to Rome/Milan
